Pattern #A60. The simplest of lace patterns knits naturally on the bias to make a knitted scarf with chic diagonal ends.

The bias design is a striking use of hand-painted yarn. Optionally trim your scarf with a simple crochet beaded edge.

• Skill level: Basic beginner knitting skeills; simple crochet skills for optional beaded edge.
• Size: 6-1/2" wide and up to 68" long. However, the size is simple to adjust in both length and width.
• Needles: US #5 (3.75 mm), Corchet hook size E or F
• Materials: Approximately 325 yards of fingering or finer yarn in the range of 20 to 30 wraps per inch.
• Gauge: 6-1/2 sts and 6-1/2 rows = 1" on size US #5 (3.75 mm) over pattern after blocking, and as measured on the bias across width and length of scarf respectively.
• Optional beaded edge: 15g size 8/0 glass seed beads.
